Your questions on A Free Man and other writing

A Free Man  is your first published fiction; will it be your last?
I think there will be more to come. I have several other books that I am working on, some are fiction, others not. Time will tell which work is finished and published next. Ironically, A Free Man was not supposed to come first. The concept behind book 3 'The Come Back' was in place, but low on the pecking order, then the opening to Be Seeing You inspired that book and made 'The Come Back' inevitable. I wrote those books in parallel.

You suggest two different sequences for the trilogy, why is this? ~ What is the correct order in which to read the three books of the trilogy?
In the preface I do suggest two different sequences. My intention as I was writing was that each book could stand alone, to be read independently. I also envisaged that they might be read collectively in any sequence.
At a later date, I hope to explain how some quite unusual techniques were used during the writing in order to avoid predictable storylines. That effort partly determined the stylistic and constructive elements, which in turn affected how the books read.
I will suggest that if anyone struggles with the opening to one of the books, they might either read on, or start instead with one of the others. This, because the style changes significantly, and the whole might only be understood (or merely appreciated) after other sections are read.

I don't understand some of the 'poetic' sequences.
Referring to my previous answer, read on! It will not be neccesary to comprehend every meaning as the words are read. The hope is that the ebb and flow of the words has an effect on the reader's mood. There are meanings, but these are neither less nor more important than the mood created by the text.

We have many more questions, can't you answer them now?
I wish, soon I hope, where's that 'Fresh Air' transcript when one needs it?
