These works are created intermittently, whenever inspiration, or a little frustration and the need for a diabolical striking out combine. At such times I grab materials at hand, and forge whatever is burning to get out.
After the initial impact it can take a while, days, weeks even months of looking & living with a peice; of working on it further to bring it forth. Most works perish as woodstove fodder, but for peculiar and varied reasons, some survive - here are a few:
